Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths

I received Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths complimentary from influenster for testing and review purposes. This is my review.

I have used Cetaphil cleanser in the pump bottle before and found it to be very gentle so I didn’t expect anything less from these wipes. The wipes are SUPER soft to touch and gentle on skin. They have no fragrance which is a good thing for those with sensitive skin.

They cleaned the face pretty well from dirt and oiliness. I would not recommend them for removing makeup. This is where the gentleness comes in at a con. It will take several wipes to remove a full face of makeup. It took me two just to remove powder foundation.

Besides that, it is a very good facial cleanser that leaves your skin feeling refreshed. It doesn’t feel like it leaves any sort of layer of residue on your skin. It doesn’t dry it out either. I would definitely recommend this to people with sensitive skin.

Shell Fuel Rewards Network Card

I received the Fuel Rewards Network card complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster in my ‪#‎VivaVoxBox‬. This is my review.

My husband usually fills up on Shell gas anyway so this was a big plus for us. We also have several MasterCards we were able to link up with the card to save even more money. It feels good to be able to save money on gas for making everyday purchases.

It was super simple to make an account and set everything up. The website shows where you can fill up on gas and specials that specific station have. Which is a really cool feature. There are coupons on in store products so you’re not just saving money on gas.

One con is I just wish it had more participating grocery stores in the loyalty rewards card section. It was weird to not see Kroger on the list because they already have a program to save money at Shell stations based on how much you spend monthly. Please include Kroger! Otherwise, I think this is a great thing. ‪#‎FuelRewards‬

Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer Cocoa Radiant

I received Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer Cocoa Radiant complimentary from influenster for testing and review purposes. This is my unbiased review.

I like that the bottle features a continuous spray nozzle. I don’t have to keep pumping it. It makes applying it quick and easy. Enough comes out to spread around evenly. Some people may find that they have to apply more to the backs of their legs or arms to get full coverage. I like how quickly this moisturizer dries. It doesn’t take too long before I can put clothes on over it. I love the gentle cocoa butter scent. It isn’t too strong and fades as the day goes on. This moisturizer gives your skin a nice glimmer. The only con I have about this product is that it is a very light moisturizer. For every day purposes I’ll stick to my regular lotion. But when I’m running late and in a hurry, this will be my go to lotion.

Pure Ice Nail Polish

I received Pure Ice Nail Polish in After Hours and It’s Complicated complimentary from influenster for testing and review purposes. This is my unbiased review.

I was very excited to try these out. I had never tried this brand of nail polish before. I especially love glitter nail polish so I was very happy to see one included. I will be reviewing these separately, as they are both different types of polishes.

First is the After Hours color. I really liked this color. It wasn’t too bright but it wasn’t too dull either. It is a really nice spring color that is really cute alone or coated with the glitter polish. It doesn’t take very long for this polish to dry. I only used one coat to provide a full coverage. It has a nice consistency. Not too thick or thin. When dry it provides a really nice smooth surface. It has a nice shine but I still put a clear coat on top to protect it from chips.

Next is the It’s Complicated color which was a glitter polish. I never tried the polish on its own, only over other polishes. I loved that the pieces of glitter were of varying sizes and colors. I felt like it took bit longer for this polish to dry. I didn’t like the clear polish that was used with it. It didn’t look that great and didn’t look or feel very smooth once dry. I felt like it would be very easy to chip off the pieces of glitter. It was better after I applied a clear coat on top. It smoothed it out and protected the glitter.

Overall, I’d recommend these polishes if you plan on using a top coat. Which I would recommend with any polish just to protect it from chipping too soon. It gets even better when you find out the price is only $1.99.

NYC New York Color City Proof Twistable Intense Lip Color

I received NYC New York Color City Proof Twistable Intense Lip Color in 040 South Ferry Berry complimentary from influenster for testing a review purposes. Here is my unbiased review on it.

I really like the packaging. It makes it easy to use and be precise with the pointed tip. You also can’t accidentally push the lid down too much and smash the tip. When in use you can put the lid on the bottom so you won’t lose it.

I have to say when I first saw the color that it seemed way too intense for me. But after trying it on it really seemed to suit me well. This still wouldn’t be a color I could see myself wearing on a normal day. This is more for special occasions where I may want to stand out.

I really like that it is very smooth when applying. I even think it has a nice smell. To me it has a light scent of berries. It is moisturizing unlike other lipsticks. It’s almost like I’m wearing lip balm. I can only think of one negative thing about it. It can be a bit staining on the lips when removing it. But not too bad. Your lips just look slightly pinkish. Which could be a positive if you like that.

I would definitely recommend this product because it is a high quality product that is a great value for the price. They retail for 2.99 each and they come in 12 shades.

Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel Off

I received my #VivaVoxBox from influenster over the weekend and today I got a chance to test out one of the complimentary products. It was the Manuka Honey Peel Off by Montagne Jeunesse. Here is how it came in the box.

The inside of the pamphlet:

The outside:

And the back of the actual package:

I have used Montagne Jeunesse masks before but never a peel off one so I was curious to see how I liked it. I had just gotten out of the shower before using this mask. I simply washed my face with a basic bar of Caress like I normally do. My face was already dry and ready to go.

Opening the package was simple and easy thanks to the special tear off tab. There was no mess getting it open and onto my fingers. I have to say, this REALLY did smell like and look like honey. Here is a picture on my finger.

It even kind of had the consistency of honey. It was kind of weird putting it on since i would normally expect a smooth creamy application. But was you would expect from honey this was sticky. It’s kind of hard to tell if you’ve got it on in an even layer.

Once applied, I set my timer for 15 minutes. I had already spent a few minutes washing my hands and the sink where i dropped some. Immediately I could feel a warm sensation over my face. It didn’t last for too long and it never burned or got uncomfortably warm.

Finally the timer went off and time to peel! At first I wasn’t sure where to start peeling from. I tried going from the edge of my cheek but I just couldn’t get it up. I think maybe it was applied to thin there. I finally got it started above my lip. Here’s a picture of the process.

I wish I had been more careful about getting it on my eyebrows and hair line. It was something I hadn’t even thought about since I was used to just washing the mask off. So learn from my mistake. It was very easy to wash off though, just in case you do make a mistake.

And finally here is a picture after it’s off.

It left my skin feeling soft and clean. You can still smell the honey bit. It doesn’t bother me. In fact I kind of like it. My face doesn’t feel tight like it sometimes does after using a mask. I highly recommend it.
